For 2025 the festival theme was World Of Sound. We explored the power of UK audio on a global platform, examined international co-productions and partnerships, and put a spotlight the UK talent and shows taking the world by storm. Industry leaders shared the details of their successes, pinpointed the potential pitfalls of going global and identified the power of audio in this changing world.
With a lively line-up across four stages there was a wealth of opportunity to engage with audio experts and network with colleagues, past, present and future.
We were delighted to bring an astonishing new audio experience to The Festival with the support of Dolby Labs. Dolby will took over the venue’s historic 17th century Dorchester Library and transformed it into a state-of-the-art immersive audio showcase. The Dolby Library shared extraordinary sonic arrangements and world class acoustic art, created and mixed in Dolby Atmos, giving content producers access to immersive audio and expanding their creative canvas into three dimensions. The Dolby Library transported festival goers to a mesmerising sensory experience.
