
Aradhna Tayal Leach
Managing Director
Aradhna is a strategic consultant and leader in media, events and engagement. She brings together extensive experience in the entertainment, arts and technology sectors, with a passion for industry development to better reflect, represent and influence society.
Aradhna is Managing Director of The Radio Academy, she is also Director of Radio TechCon, the UK’s audio and radio technology conference.
Formerly at the BBC and through her consultancy Clockhouse Media, Aradhna has led events, initiatives and strategies across the creative industries. Her portfolio includes BBC Shorts, OKRE Summit, Creative Cities Convention, the Film and TV Charity, the Worldwide Association for Women Journalists and Writers, AudioUK, Sadler’s Wells and the National Theatre.
A former trustee of The Radio Academy, Aradhna was awarded their Fellowship in 2020 for her services to audio. She is trustee of WAC Arts, committee member of the Royal Television Society, London and former Chair of the Jury for their student awards.

Chris North
Executive Producer
With 24 years experience in talent management and artist representation, Chris is the founder of North Media Talent and as an Agent and Manager discovering fresh talent and representing a combination of new and established presenters. He also consults on a variety of media projects, works as a Presenter coach and is Executive Producer for The Radio Academy which includes Foot in the Door training events and the annual Radio Academy Festival.
Chris is also an ambassador at the Student Radio Association, and runs the popular Demo Factor events.

Georgy Jamieson
Podcast Producer
Georgy is a freelance broadcaster, producer, podcaster, writer and events host. She worked in fashion retail, the travel industry and even as a children’s portrait photographer before starting her radio career with BBC Local Radio in the East as a presenter and producer, where she worked on every type of show from arts, news, entertainment and sport as well as making local documentaries.
In 2022 she was part of the first RAMP programme with the Radio Academy and in 2023 she was an Arias judge. Georgy has also produced sessions at the Radio Academy Festival and assisted with the audio and visuals and the running of the Arias stage since 2023.
Georgy’s passion has always been interviewing and discovering great stories and now she produces and presents the Radio Academy podcast where she loves talking to interesting people in the radio and audio industry. She’s a comedy historian, which her husband says is a made-up job, but that does mean she pops up on Channel 5 from time to time talking about classic British comedy.

Adam Stoner
Social Media Manager
Always championing the industry, Adam set a Guinness World Record for sending the first ever radio programme into deep space. He works with Fun Kids, where he creates audio for curious young minds, and for heritage organisations like Forestry England and Historic Scotland.

Nikki Cannon
Membership & Programme Coordinator
Nikki is a production and event management professional, based in the North West of England. With a deep love for music and audio, Nikki thrives on bringing projects to life and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, and she does it all with a smile on her face.
Previously a Production Manager with 7digital Creative, Nikki has steered events and projects like BBC Radio 2's Folk Awards, 21st Century Folk and Derren Brown's Boot camp, amongst many others, and has been involved with The Radio Academy Festival for a number of years already.
