The Radio Academy Festival

A week of discussion, debate and celebration

When & Where

Date: 9-13 November 2020, from 2.30pm each day

Location: Live from venues around the UK, direct to you at home!

A Virtual Festival for The New Normal

It feels like everything has changed since we last met for the Festival in 2019. We have new bosses, new owners, new brands, a new government, a new way of working, new ways of looking at the world - a new normal.

The Radio Academy Festival 2020 explored The New Normal for radio and audio in the UK. We celebrated the extraordinary way radio and podcasts have supported audiences during recent, challenging times, and we supoprted each other by sharing lessons learnt during lockdown.

The Festival was an entirely virtual event - instead of a full one day in a conference venue, we met online across five afternoons from Monday 9th to Friday 13th November, on a special online events platform. And unlike previous Festivals, we've made everything available online to watch again via catchup.

Five afternoons of debate, discussion and celebration

Each day featured a packed schedule of speakers, guests, panels, packages, and ways for you to get involved.
