24th February - Leadership Launch Event
The programme of six talks will launch on Wednesday 24th February with a leadership panel hosted by Head of BBC Radio 2, and Chair of The Radio Academy, Helen Thomas. She’ll be hearing the inspirational stories of five leading women in the business:
- Rebecca Frank - Content Director, KISS Network
- Lorna Clarke - Controller of BBC Popular Music
- Siobhan Kenny - CEO of Radiocentre
- Dame Melanie Dawes - Chief Executive of Ofcom
- Ruth Fitzsimons - MD of Podfront UK
3rd March - The Producer-Presenter relationship
BBC Radio 2’s Sara Cox and her producer Louise Molony will be in-conversation with Kaylee Golding, talking about the Presenter-Producer relationship and how they work together.
10th March - Women in Podcasting
Podcasting Pioneer Helen Zaltzman will be in conversation with Founder of Don't Skip Media Christina Moore and the hosts of Brown Girls Do It Too, Poppy Jay & Rubina Pabani. They'll be talking about the podcast sector, and how it's changed during its development in the last 20 years.
17th March - New Platforms
From 12.30-1.30pm
A discussion about new audio platforms, with Radio Times Moment of the Year co-winner Katherine Boyle who now presents a show with Iain Lee on Twitch, BBC Radio 1 Senior Social Media Strategist Linzi Symons who has pioneered work on TikTok and more, and Voice Technology expert and prolific Clubhouse user Ilarne Nche, Founder and Software Engineer at Adassa Innovations.
24th March - International Panel
From 12.30-1.30pm
Our guests will be Amy Zayed, a Broadcast Journalist based in Germany; Lina Chawaf, Executive Director at Radio Rozana based in Paris and providing balanced news and information to Syria; and Tolu Oniru-Demuren (aka Toolz) presenter on Nigeria's The Beat 99.9FM in Lagos.
31st March - Women in News & Sport

Our final session will focus on News and Sport, with Times Radio Breakfast co-host Aasmah Mir and BBC Radio Five Live presenter (and the First Lady of Fighting Talk) Eleanor Oldroyd.
