The Radio Academy celebrated Women In Radio & Audio during March 2021, with a series of events highlighting inspiring leadership and creative achievement.

The programme of six talks launched with a leadership panel hosted by Head of BBC Radio 2, and Chair of The Radio Academy, Helen Thomas hearing the inspirational stories of leading women in the business.

The series then continued each Wednesday during March, to mark International Women's Day. The talks will explore a broad range of areas of radio and audio, with brilliant guests every week.

In addition to the live events, we published our Inspirations audio series, releasing daily clips of women in radio and audio talking about their heroes and inspirations in the business.
