Samantha Moy

Samantha Moy is Head of BBC Radio 6 Music. She started her career in radio at Kiss 100 in London, moving to independent production company Somethin’ Else making programmes for BBC Radios 1, 2 and the World Service. She joined Radio 1 in 2002 where she produced the Evening Session, Jo Whiley and the Live Lounge, The Chris Moyles Show, and Annie Mac. Sam was also an Event Producer at the BBC Electric Proms in 2008-2009, creating unique broadcast performances with Oasis and The Streets amongst others.

Moving to 6 Music, Sam has risen through its ranks to become Station Head in 2020. She has overseen record audiences, multiple Station of the Year nominations and wins across the broadcast and music industries, as well as a transformed schedule which includes presenters like Jamz Supernova, SHERELLE, Zakia and, most recently, Nick Grimshaw, 6 Music's new Breakfast Show host.
