Anthony Gay
Anthony is Chief Strategy Officer and European Managing Director at ReelWorld - the production company that create the brand sound of thousands of radio stations around the world including Heart, BBC Radio 1Xtra, the BBC Local Network and BBC Radio Scotland here in the UK. He oversees all ReelWorld activity in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia as well as working closely with the team in the US on American strategy. He recently co-founded a new business, Reel2Media, to help brands with their sonic identities on emerging platforms.
A cheerleader for the radio industry and believer in the power of sound, Ant is curious about where radio is going and new ways in which audio is being used to engage and entertain.
Before ReelWorld he was a Regional Programming Director at Bauer Yorkshire, a Bauer station director, and PD at Key 103, Rock FM, and Hallam FM (the breakfast show he launched in 2000 is still on air today). Radio has always been in his blood since he first went on air aged 11 as a presenter on hospital radio in Sheffield.
