August 2020 Webinars

The Radio Academy held two game-changing webinars in August 2020, launching the R.O.A.R. programme. They focused on the Black British lived experience both in-front of the mic, and behind the mic.

The webinars were hosted by Radio Academy Chair Yvonne Thompson, and Swarzy Macaly from KISS. The webinars aimed to amplify and lead the debate across the industry.

Black History Month Inspirations

The Radio Academy celebrated Black History Month with our Inspirations features, sharing personal stories and role models from across the industry.  Throughout October, we highlighted individuals that have made a difference and inspired people to make things happen in radio and audio.
