“A Star In The Making”
The Times Live 2017 TGE review

“Jerry Williams is like a female Alex Turner, and I mean that sincerely and in the best possible way. Her talent is raw, poetic, easy, unforced and compelling. Her lyrics are smart, her melodies warm and delicious, together they spin a sugar coated bitter pill of reality”

“My love Matt Wills is the truth and the way. Gonna be massive”
“It looks like Matt Wills could be coming for Sheeran’s guitary-rap crown”
“Catchy, melodic Indie-Pop... loving this one”
(BBC Radio 1)
“Love, love, love!”

We were also joined by several of our judges, including Chris North and Anthony Gay, MD of ReelWorld, who talked about the importance of fostering young talent and the tremendous value of the competition.
Also in attendance were 2016's 30under30 Alumni, who talked about how winning the competition has influence their careers, and gave some tips and tricks to this year's hopefuls in the audience.
Taking place within the after party of 2017's Radio Festival, there were plenty of big industry figures also in attendance to network with, including Director General of the BBC, Tony Hall.
