“Last orders at the bar please!”

Hi there and a belated Happy New Year, I trust it’s a peaceful, healthy and rewarding one for you.

Wednesday this week is closing day for our Trustee elections [see the candidates profiles here] and if you’ve not voted yet, please do so as time is running out.

The Trustees of the Academy play an integral role in leading the organisation and serving the interests of members from across our diverse sector. These elections are very important as we continue to make great strides in developing an inclusive and progressive network for practitioners in UK audio and radio.

The vote is only open to ‘registered’ members of The Radio Academy and it’s one member, one vote. If you’ve yet to register, you’ll need to do so before Tuesday night [the 16th January] to subsequently receive your ballot email in time for the poll closing the following day.

Please note; working for, or being a member of an academy patron company/organisation, does not mean you’re automatically registered. You need to register with us personally to activate your membership.

To register go here.

Good Luck to all of the excellent candidates Ahmed Hussain, Aradhna Tayal, Dennie Morris, Edward Adoo, Ford Ennals, James Hamilton, Stephanie Hirst and Steve Taylor.

We are honoured that you are prepared to give your knowledge, experience and valuable time to help us, help our members develop their knowledge, networks and careers. On behalf of The Radio Academy, thank you so much.

Cheers,
Rog x
