This year, The Radio Academy celebrates the 40th Anniversary of its founding in 1983, and special ticket prices and discounts have been announced for the occasion, as well as a new concessionary rate and bursaries for those who need financial support.
What does my ticket get me?
Tickets are for the one-day Radio Academy Festival on 12 September, and include refreshments throughout the day, a buffet lunch, and the evening drinks and pizza reception. Ticket holders will also get exclusive access to the catch-up content for the first 30 days.
Who can buy a ticket?
Tickets are exclusive to Radio Academy Members, and checks are made after purchase to ensure an active Radio Academy Membership is in place. Radio Academy Membership costs just £36 per year, or is free to employees of our Patrons, or volunteers associated with our Affiliate Patrons. Become a member now.
Regular Ticket Price
Reflecting our founding year of 1983, the regular Ticket Price this year is £198.30 (+VAT). Discounted early bird tickets have now sold out, but concessions for lower earners are still available. Buy tickets now.

Concessionary Tickets for low-earners
To reflect our founding in 1983, we're offering Concessionary Tickets at the price of £83 (+VAT). This price is available for a limited number of tickets only while stocks last, and is reserved for self-funding Members earning £28,000pa or less who work in the audio and radio industry, either freelance or in employment. They are not available to companies, and should only be purchased by individuals paying their own way, who are not able to claim the cost back from their employer or a client. You will be asked for details of your role and income, and to confirm you agree with these terms when you purchase. Buy tickets now.
Bursary Scheme - CLOSED
We are offering a limited number of Bursaries, for those who would be otherwise unable to attend by their own means. These may include students, volunteers, and other grassroots audio people not currently in employment or earning. Bursaries include a free ticket, a year's free Affiliate Membership of The Radio Academy, and a contribution towards travel. Applications are now closed for this scheme.
