Radio Festival 2021 - Redefining Talent
Talent is the fuel of the Radio and Audio industry. In a world where competition for audiences is tougher than ever, talent makes all the difference. Too often, ‘talent’ is used to describe on-mic personalities, but our industry is bursting with talented producers, programmers, sound designers, engineers and others who help create the brilliant content that’s loved by listeners. This year’s Radio Academy Festival celebrates and debates talent, on and off-air – where it’s coming from, how we nurture and nourish it, and ultimately what we’re doing as an industry to make sure the most talented people find a future right here.

Festival Socials
On the evening of The Festival, we held a series of social events all over the UK, so that radio and audio people could get together for networking, and a chance to meet up with like-minded radio folk for the first time in a long time. There were a total of 10 socials all over the country, with complimentary drinks thanks to the support of Arqiva as a Festival sponsor.
