Any individual who has been working in UK radio [including Online/Internet Radio & In Store Radio] or UK based audio business [including indie production, imaging, podcast and streaming services etc] for at least 12 months. All nominees must 29 years old or under on Sunday 30th June 2019.
Launch - 30 Under 30 launches this year on 13th May, at The Radio Festival, and nominations open the following day for 6-weeks. Nomination deadline - The deadline for nomination entries is midnight on Sunday 23rd June 2019. Announcing 2019 Alumni - All of this year's 30 Under 30 will be announced via social media, week commencing 2nd September. Please ensure you have provided us with your social media contact information during the registration process so we can link you in to the announcements.
Yes, we encourage people to put themselves forward. Just make sure your registration as a member of the Radio Academy is up to date and you can provide details of a referee so we can confirm your entry if needed.
Yes, we encourage people to nominate others. Just make sure your Radio Academy membership registration is up to date, as well as the person you are nominating.
Yes. The nominator and the nominee both need to be current registered members of The Radio Academy. Please register at
Simply go to the registration page and complete all sections. You will receive an automated message confirming your nomination, but also asking you to email us with a head shot and any external links to support your 500 word statement.
The simple answer is yes. We only ask that you give us the name and contact details of your line manager/project manager (or equivalent) so we can verify your nomination.
Congratulations on being part of the Radio Academy 30 under 30 alumni! So that there's a fair opportunity for new nominees, if you're lucky enough to have already made our list previously then we cannot accept another entry from you.
