Radio Academy NI Branch – International Women’s Day

The Radio Academy NI branch teamed up with Women in Media Belfast to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Following the success of last year’s Embracing Equity event, this year’s theme was Inspire Inclusion.

The venue was the magnificent Belfast City Hall, thanks to the Lord Mayor’s office.

Special guest on the day was Radio Academy Managing Director, Aradhna Tayal Leach.

Those speaking on the panel included BBC Radio Ulster presenter Claire Graham, UTV‘s Barbara McCann and Tori Watson plus Yasmin Zemmoura from Q Radio.

The event took place in front of a packed audience and there were some great discussions and takeaways. A truly inspiring event. Huge thanks to our NI Branch and Women in Media for organising.
