We are very excited to announce that The Radio Academy has begun its search to find this year’s most exceptional young professionals throughout the radio industry to become the 30 Under 30 2012!
This is the second year for the 30 Under 30 initiative, which aims to recognise the brightest talent under 30 years of age working in UK radio.
The final list aims to highlight those who are not just doing their job across a wide range of skills but really going the extra mile, and to recognise superb ambassadors for the radio industry as a whole. In its inaugural year in 2011 more than 200 people were nominated for the prestigious accolade – you can see the 2011 final 30 right here.
This year’s final list of 30 individuals will be decided by The Radio Academy’s 30 Under 30 team and will be announced at the Radio Festival in Salford in November.
The Radio Academy’s 30 Under 30 is open to anyone who has been working in UK radio for no less than 12 months prior to 28th September 2012 and who will be under 30 on the 1st November 2012. Nominations need to be entered by Friday 28th September 2012.
Paul Robinson, Chair of the 30 Under 30 judging panel, said:
“The UK radio industry is brimming with talented people who collectively deliver an unsurpassed listening experience, much of which is down to exemplary, young people that The Radio Academy’s 30 Under 30 is proud to help recognise.”
