This category is designed to recognise outstanding achievement in the production of drama, readings (including audio books), the spoken word and creative writing. The judges will consider choice of material, performance and production values.

Accompanying documents for this category should include:
- Up to 15 minutes audio, transmitted or distributed during the period January 1st 2011 to December 31st 2011.
- Up to 200 words commending the nominated individual.
In each case audio evidence should be presented on CD or DVD only.
