For many years, TechCon has celebrated all the technological developments in our industry at its annual conference held as part of the Radio Festival. We are very pleased to announce the return of the award which celebrates the people who drive these developments – the TechCon Technical Innovation Award, sponsored by Arqiva.

Whether you are a station engineer who has devised a new idea which helps your station interact with their audience, increase production standards, reduce costs or create revenue, or perhaps a manufacturer or supplier who has brought out a new product or service which helps stations achieve this, we’d like to hear of the innovative things you’ve been doing. In your role working for a national broadcaster you might have organised the coverage of a mass-audience multi-national event, or perhaps you volunteer for a community, hospital or student station who achieved great things with very little budget – we want to celebrate technical minds throughout the industry who are thinking outside the norm, going the extra mile and achieving the extraordinary.
