For many years, TechCon has celebrated all the technological developments in our industry at its annual conference held as part of the Radio Festival. We are very pleased to announce a new award to celebrate the people who drive these developments – the TechCon Technical Innovation Award.

Whether you are a station engineer who has devised a new idea which helps your station interact with their audience, increase production standards, reduce costs or create revenue, or perhaps a manufacturer or supplier who has brought out a new product or service which helps stations achieve this, we’d like to hear of the innovative things you’ve been doing. In your role working for a national broadcaster you might have organised the coverage of a mass-audience multi-national event, or perhaps you volunteer for a community, hospital or student station who achieved great things with very little budget – we want to celebrate technical minds throughout the industry who are thinking outside the norm, going the extra mile and achieving the extraordinary.
