How to Enter

Before you go any further, do read through the Terms & Conditions of Entry to ensure you are eligible.
Please note that each entry should consist of two parts – a completed entry form and an audio submission.
You will need to supply 4 copies of each, in 4 separate, clearly labelled A4 envelopes.

Please note that entry is only open to Radio Academy individual, affiliate and Patron members – to check your membership status or to join, click here.

The Written Submission

Download and complete the Entry Form as a PDF or as a Word doc.
Please note that this form must be signed by the station manager, programme controller, or person of similar authority. You’ll need to supply 4 copies of this form.
You can also download a print-friendly copy of all the entry information here.

The Audio

In addition to your written submission, the following audio (on CD) is required:

4 x CDs ‘SAMPLE DAY’ to consist of a continuous and unedited half hour recording of output, broadcast between 7.00am and 9.00am, on Thursday 19th July 2012.
This audio is intended to provide judges with an example of ‘typical’ output.
Additional audio material such as specially recorded voice links or introductions is not permitted
Please ensure you label each CD with the station name, branch and the title ‘Sample Day’. Total duration should not exceed 30 minutes.

Music, promos and adverts (but no other content) may be telescoped within each extract. Please separate each extract by a fade into and out of a 1 second gap, so that it is clear to judges where each extract begins and ends.

Additional audio material such as specially recorded voice links or introductions is not permitted

Please ensure you label each CD with the station name, branch and the title ‘Sample Day’. Total duration should not exceed 30 minutes.
