The BBC and commercial radio are co-operating on the development of a ‘radio+’. The Sun announced plans to launch an online radio station. Podcasts, audio streams and listen again services are winning audiences. So is the future already here? Or are the new technology possibilities distracting us from the business of making quality programming? And how does anyone make money?
Emily Bell, the Guardian’s Director of Digital Content, Steve Bowbrick from Speechification, and Jon Gaunt, Presenter of SunTalk made up the panel and distinguished journalist and podcaster David Hepworth, editorial director of Word magazine, asked the questions.
