Only 87% of the UK's 12.5m children are listening to the radio each week. This is the worst performing age demographic. The competition from TVs, iPods, mobiles and games is usually blamed. But is there more to it? Are we abandoning the future of radio by ignoring children? Will they ever pick up the radio habit?
