Rock fans often complain that they’re the most marginalised of all music fans.

Research shows that rock is the most sought after format despite the presence of national rock networks on analogue and digital, stage legends sitting behind the microphones and modern rock on the playlists of some of the newest and hippest of radio stations.

Rick Wakeman chaired a panel of rock presenters and programmers including XFM’s Ian Camfield, Planet Rock’s Nicky Horne, BBC 6Music’s Shaun Keaveny, and Kerrang!’s Emma Scrafton to ask ‘Are you Ready to Rock?’
