Events
The Radio Academy organises events throughout the year looking at a variety of different topics that affect the radio industry. Its flagship event is The Radio Festival, radio's pre-eminent conference. The Radio Festival also includes the technology focused TechCon and the training event Foot in the Door. Throughout the year the Academy also organises large conferences looking at specific topics, ranging from new media (with Radio At The Edge) to radio production.
The Academy also organises regional events across the country, including monthly events in London. These are low cost (usually free to members) and happen on weekday evenings.
Training is a key tenet of The Radio Academy, and it organises Masterclass events across the country. These combine speeches and tutorials from local radio practitioners and practical advice about getting into the radio industry.
