This event, hosted by the Cardiff School of Journalism, is a unique opportunity to hear from one of the industry greats. Find out what he has to say about his career, industry consolidation, cuts at the BBC plus what he thinks about radio in Wales.

The Radio Academy Wales branch is back and we want you to get involved.
Our first event of 2012 will be a pub quiz on Wednesday 1st February at 19:30 upstairs in O'Neills, St Mary's Street, Cardiff.
The evening will be hosted by comedian, TV and Radio Presenter Chris Corcoran.
Teams will be made up of a maximum of 5 people and entry is £10 per team, payable on the evening.
It's set to be a fun-filled evening and you can enter as many teams as you like in order to have a chance at being crowned 'The Radio Academy Wales Pub Quiz Champions 2012'.

I hope that 2012 will be an exciting year for the Radio Academy in Wales with many more events to come.
