Lisa Kerr

Lisa Kerr is Campaign Director for Digital Radio UK leading the radio industry’s communications strategy for the Digital Economy Bill, which will facilitate radio’s transition to a digital future.


As Campaign Director for Digital Radio UK, Lisa represents the BBC, Commercial Radio and Arqiva to parliament, government and the press.

She is seconded from her ‘day job’ as Director of External Affairs at RadioCentre, the organisation which represents UK Commercial Radio and whose remit is to maintain and build a strong and successful Commercial Radio industry - in terms of both listening hours and revenues.

Lisa was previously MD of local radio group which specialised in establishing and operating small Commercial Radio stations. She is a Director of the Broadcast Committee of Advertising Practice, and of the Broadcast Training and Skills Regulator, chairs the Radio Academy Skills and Diversity Forum, is a Trustee of the Radio Academy and sits on both the Sony Awards Committee and the Executive Committee of the Association de European Radios.

She is also is a former award winning presenter and producer for Radio Forth and Classic FM. Lisa lives near Elgin with her husband and two young children. She is a Vice Chairman of Scottish Opera and a Governor of Gordonstoun Schools.
