Gary Frisch Bursary

Do you have an idea that could be the next best thing for the multiplatform digital age of radio? Each year the Gary Frisch bursary looks for new or undiscovered talent. Whether you’re an aspiring presenter, producer, engineer, or sales person with an innovative or creative ideas, we want to hear from you!
The Bursary awards up to £4000 and gives each recipient professional experience as a GaydarRadio apprentice. Applications open in May each year, and the bursary is awarded at the Radio Festival.
CONGRATULATIONS to this year’s winner, Brian Tinney, whose Iphone application, Contact, caught the judges imagination. Bringing together a number of applications already on the market, the judges thought Brian submitted an intelligent idea that needed to be developed with the help of the Gary Frisch Bursary.
The judges were over whelmed with the high standard of entries for this year’s bursary and highly commended Matt Hill’s entry: Cyber-Joust – A multiplatform live programme interacting with the listener across the World Wide Web. Matt Hill and his team will have the chance to produce his idea and try it out on GaydarRadio.
