Membership and Benefits
Members of The Radio Academy benefit from being part of a group of peers and colleagues across the industry. The Radio Academy is the only social and business link to bridge BBC and commercial radio. Members get free entry into most of our Branch events across the country, early bird and member rate to our conferences and The Radio Festival. We also have various member offers throughout the year including 25% off Pure's DAB Digital Radios.
Free Membership
If you fall into one of these categories you can apply for complimentary membership:
- Staff of our patron members (click here for the list).
- Active participants in radio stations which are members of the Student Radio Association
- Active participants in radio stations which are full members of the Hospital Broadcasting Association
- Active participants in community radio stations which have been licensed by Ofcom.
Individual Membership
If you do not qualify for free membership, as described above, individual membership of The Radio Academy is an annual flat rate subscription of £25.
